On July 21, 2018 a group of young people are bringing their demands for climate action to Washington, D.C. Led by Zero Hour, a group founded by high schoolers, the Youth Climate March is standing up to the influence of fossil fuel money in politics, including asking politicians directly to stop taking campaign money from oil, gas and coal interests.
This week’s action is simple: mark your calendar and RSVP here.
Even if you can’t make it to D.C. this July, there are still plenty of ways you can support the youth movement to act on climate. You can follow them on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, or buy a shirt to help raise funds and awareness. Or you can simply donate here.
