There are only 8 more days till #EarthHour 2018! Earth hour is an international lights out event coordinated by @world_wildlife to bring awareness to climate change. Want to know why 🌍 ⌚️ is this time of year? Because both the Spring and Autumnal equinox take place in their respective hemispheres. That means the sun sets at almost the same time on both sides of the Earth which is optimal for this spectacular global event.

Here is their message: “As accelerating climate change and staggering biodiversity loss threaten our planet, Earth Hour 2018-2020 endeavors to spark never-before-had conversations on the loss of nature and the urgent need to protect it.” Help celebrate Earth Hour by turning off your lights and electronics at exactly 8:30 pm your local time on March 24th and use the hashtags #YEARSproject & #EarthHour to show us!
