The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is a trade group that spends millions lobbying on behalf of its members, including many household brands like Apple, PepsiCo, CocaCola Co, Unilever and even Tesla. For over two decades, the Chamber has blocked climate action and actively sued the Obama Administration over the Clean Power Plan.
Denying climate change isn’t really in the best interests of the companies that fund the Chamber of Commerce. That’s why a student-led coalition is bringing the fight to them, starting with PepsiCo and CocaCola Co. The Change the Chamber campaign is demanding that these companies not only stop supporting climate denial, but actively start lobbying for science-backed climate solutions.
