At the end of this week, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will be holding an important meeting to vote on a number of resolutions relating to climate change. They’re expected to consider hosting a party-sanctioned climate debate during the democratic presidential primary season.
In order to understand how the candidates’ climate solutions stack up, we need a debate — not just a forum where candidates are questioned one-by-one among a host of other topics. This week, call your state’s DNC members and let them know how important climate change is to you, and ask them to support a climate debate. You can use the tool below from CREDO Action, which will connect you to the right representative.
You can do this even if you’re not a registered Democrat. Anyone in the U.S. can make the call, no matter how you vote. If you want to see a climate debate, now is the time to speak up.
