Since the first season of our show, we’ve been using the hashtag #YEARSproject to tag our work.
Now, we’re working on so much more than a TV show. We’ve helped lead the #PutAPriceOnIt Campaign, to help fight for a price on carbon. We’re making breaking-news videos on climate for online audiences, including more than 2 million followers on Facebook. We share a Weekly Action for people who want to do something about climate on a regular basis. We’ve partnered with The Environmental Voter Project to get climate voters out to the polls. And with Climate Classroom, we help bring climate science to students and combat climate change denial.
Today, we launched something else. Our newest project is Years: The Show on Facebook Watch. Be sure to follow the show page to get notified whenever we have new episodes.
So as you can see, we’re doing a lot of different things. That’s why we decided to change the name of our organization from YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY to The YEARS Project — like the hashtag our fans have been using all along. You may have noticed the new logo across our social media channels. We’ll still be telling the biggest story of our time, but we’re doing it under a brand new name.
The YEARS Project is a multimedia storytelling and education effort designed to inform, empower, and unite the world in the face of climate change.
We’ve got a lot more important things in the works! Stay tuned!Share This
