A CONVERSATION WITH GINA MCCARTHY: PART 1
With Trump’s full-on assault on the EPA now underway, we travelled to Harvard Kennedy School recently to interview Gina McCarthy, who served until this January as President Obama’s EPA chief. Under her stewardship, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency did more to protect us from the threat of climate change than it had under any previous Administration.
This weekend, the Trump Administration announced plans to roll back a number of regulations on the auto industry. These regulations are not just good for the environment, but for American consumers and the US economy.
With President Donald J. Trump and his U.S. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt putting much of Barack Obama and McCarthy’s climate legacies in jeopardy, we wanted to hear her thoughts. We hope you do too.
We’ll be rolling out new videos from our interview with Former Administrator Gina McCarthy all week. Make sure to stay tuned!
