Ask Your Members of Congress to Take the No Fossil Fuel Money Pledge

Have your elected officials taken a stand against the fossil fuel industry’s influence in politics?

The U.S. Senate recently held a vote on the Green New Deal resolution. It turns out that there was a striking similarity among those who voted “no.” They all received substantial donations from the fossil fuel industry — a combined $55 million.

However, some politicians are now taking a stand against the flow of the industry’s money into Congress. Over 40 members of the House and Senate have signed the No Fossil Fuel Money Pledge. This week, let’s push more members of Congress to do the same. Here’s what you can do:

Step 1: Check to see if any of your members of Congress have already taken the pledge. If so, you can thank them!

Step 2: For the Senators or House Representatives who haven’t signed on, ask them to sign the pledge. You can use the toolkit at the button below to make the ask.
